The product design focuses on developing a dedicated website for eco-friendly products, providing users(In the Netherlands And Other countries with high demand fror eco-friendly products) with the ability to browse, add items to a shopping cart, and complete their purchases seamlessly

The platform will include various checkout options and multiple collection methods, ensuring a convenient and user-friendly shopping experience tailored to environmentally conscious consumers.

Problem Statement
  • In today's digital age, there is an increasing demand for sustainable and eco-friendly products as consumers become more environmentally conscious. However, many e-commerce platforms lack a user-friendly interface that effectively highlights eco-friendly products and provides seamless shopping experiences tailored to this niche.
  • The challenge is to design a website that not only promotes eco-friendly products but also facilitates intuitive navigation, cart management, and flexible checkout options, including multiple collection methods.
Research Method
  • Competitive Analysis: Analyzed existing e-commerce platforms specializing in sustainable products to identify best practices and gaps in the market.
  • Surveys: Deployed online surveys to gather quantitative data on consumer preferences, such as preferred checkout methods and key decision-making factors when shopping sustainably.
Findings
  • User Needs: Users prioritized transparency about product sustainability, easy navigation, and clear categorization of eco-friendly items.
  • Checkout Preferences: Flexibility in collection methods, such as in-store pickup, delivery, or third-party locker systems, was identified as a critical feature
  • Aesthetic Expectations: Consumers favored clean, minimalistic designs that reflect the eco-friendly ethos of the products being sold.
